A Friday Finish

I belong to the Believe Circle at Do. Good Stitches on Flickr.

These are the October 2016 blocks finally put together and quilted.

Our group does one quilt a month that we donate to "A Blanket of My Own" who gives handmade quilts to children in foster care.  Click HERE to see other quilts we have donated.

I usually complete 2-3 quilts for the group each year and I'm always looking for donations of backing fabric and batting.  Please contact me if you are interested in donating to
this worthy cause.

Q1 Finish Along list

Now....off to the post office!

Peace to all,

Laura

  2. That is a great block and it makes up into such a nice quilt. I may have to use that for a charity quit myself. Thanks for sharing.

  3. I'm intrigued by your quilting machine setup. I bought a used quilting machine for Christmas similar to this one. It's an industrial Janome sewing machine adapted for long arm quilting, but the handles are attached to the BACK of the machine. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet (it needs a new tension knob), so I don't know if I'll hate it or not. I might end up doing what you did to yours...

  5. Another group I hear about from Melissa! I love this pattern - so great for an American Hero quilt. Thank you for the idea!
